I have always had a bottom freezer refrigerator but my new Kitchenaid is perfect. There's one large drawer that I use for cheese and cold cuts that i absolutely love. I'm looking to replace my stove and I'll be looking at KitchenAid.

Replaced an existing KitchenAid Fridge we had for a. number of years when we moved to a new home. Looks Great with the. exception of slight dent appearance on stainless steel door which may be lighting or thin material. The unit is somewhat noisier than expected now that its in a great room rather than a separate kitchen. Not sure why fridges don't come with ice cube trays anymore.

We bought this refrigerator despite some of the negative reviews of the drawers not sliding easily. It's true they do not slide easily but if you add a little paraffin wax they work perfectly. The first time that we have had KitchenAid appliances and we're super happy. The only thing that I would add to this refrigerator set up as a doorstop so the refrigerator door doesn't open all the way or it would be adjustable. Go buy these appliances they work well .

When I first started looking for a fridge I was looking for a French door. I couldn't find one that would fit the opening in my kitchen. Nothing met my expectations or my needs. Then I found the KitchenAid, wasn't quite sure, but now that we have it in the kitchen, I'm so glad we didn't buy the French door model. It is one of the best fridges we have had. Looks and performance excellent!

Nice Fridge but the fridge door started to rust after the year mark, KitchenAid will not replace or budge at all to help with the fix. Very Disappointing they viewed it as a cosmetic problem so apparently the fridge is fine. The Rust is already starting to grow and will only get worse.

I spent 2 full days fridge shopping and this fridge was exactly what I was looking for. The exterior design was exactly what I needed for my space and the stainless steel was a bonus! Works perfectly. The interior is wonderful. The lightning shows through, top to bottom, the split shelves are fantastic (my previous unit didn't have this) and the adjustable door shelves (also new feature for me) are genius! Very good quality, quiet when running, easy to clean!

This is a well made, well designed product. It was highly rated in Consumer Reports, which meant a lot. The freezer has a "tight close" feature of sorts, in that when you get the door close to being closed, it automatically sucks in the rest of the way. Way more room than our previous side by side, and well thought out interior features as well.

I have had this fridge for 2 months. The fan makes a high pitched noise that is so loud I thought my neighbor was using his leaf blower, I thought it was weird because it is winter and we have snow in Michigan. I had the technician out and he said it was normal and I must have sensitive ears. Other than that it is very nice. Not sold on Kitchen aid for the price you pay. I had to have my new oven replaced because that didn't properly coat the whole inside of the oven with porcelain. This time the tech said it must have been made on a Friday. My Bosch dishwasher is so quiet you don't even know it is on. I ope you have better luck.

The manufacturing defects are visible. Not sure I purchased a good product to fit in my small kitchen space. The large drawer inside does not slide easily. Although shown here I didn't realize this product was gray. Was unable to view this product in the appliance showroom, that was a mistake.

it's not a fancy refrigerator and i would say it's more old school. why, this refrigerator is like buying a brick and i love it. the door trays are great, i love the handles, like freezer space is nice and i have more then enough room internally.
during my search to buy, any refrigerator that had ice/water on the door was eliminated. i do not see such items as convenient, rather points of failure. there is no ice maker in the freezer as i do not use that much ice and would prefer the space.

We have used KitchenAid products in our previous homes and have never had an issue. We bought two of these refrigerators to place them side by side in our remodeled kitchen. The other one works wonderful, but this one is having an issue. The freezer doesn't get cold enough to freeze anything or make ice cubes. They were installed less than 6 months ago.

Have had this fridge now for 9 months. We bought it to replace a 30" wide fridge with freezer on top, during a kitchen renovation. We recessed this fridge into the wall so it appears counter depth. (We didn't want counter depth because I have relatives with counter depth fridges and they store very little and take up adjacent cabinet space by being taller and wider. We chose single door because friends who got the french door design told us that most of the time you end up opening both doors to get something out so they are not convenient.)
We love the fridge interior design with the extra drawer for meats and cheeses, the well-designed door compartments that perfectly hold 2 litre milks, and the shelves were easily adjustable when I had to fit in a large cake on a cake plate with a leg.
We love the freezer capacity and design. Access to both shelves if very easy and they hold a TON; we have never actually filled it (we are 3 people, including a teen).
Reading other reviews, it appears that the pull-out design of the drawers used to be on rollers, now just slide out. I've never had rollers so the pull-out design is OK with me, and I love how easy it is to take the drawers out.
The fridge is not silent, but I only noticed the sound it makes when I was writing this review so it has not been an issue in the last 9 months. Would definitely buy this fridge again.

This is a nice looking refrigerator but is definitely a bit quirky. First, although the materials show it pictured with ice cube trays, it does not come with ice cube trays, and has no where to put ice cube trays. It also does not come with an automatic ice cube maker. Interesting. As others have reported, the drawers in the fridge don't slide smoothly and will pull right out if you are not careful. The real deal breaker for us however is the loud compressor that always seems to be running. The "background" compressor sound is not only loud, but it also makes an intermittent rattle sound [you will hear this in the video if you listen closely]. This KitchenAid fridge replaced a 15 year old cheap Amana fridge that was dead quite in comparison. The video will give you an idea for the compressor sound, but it is louder/worse in person.

Yesterday I wrote a review mentioning an annoying buzzing noise that had started in a 6 month old refrigerator. Repair people are coming tomorrow. Hope it can be remedied quickly.
I have a 1929 GE Monitor refrigerator (one of the ones with the exposed, uninsulated compressors on the top) that makes less noise than this. As I stated before, this is not new technology.

I only had 69" of height available so this limited the options of refrigerator that were available to me, however, I lucked out with this refrigerator, it is a beautiful unit with moveable shelving and lots of interior space so it can be fully customizable to suit your needs.

Perfect for next to wall

Absolutely love our new fridge. I had a 36" side by side but the one side was next to a wall. I thought I would hate going down to a 33" but after having it in the space I love it and it feels like there is more room since I can get the door open all the way and fit items in. Only thing is, these models do not come with water and ice dispenser in the door.

There is great storage in this unit. We bought the single door model and are glad we did as there is much more room for gallon jugs etc than the double door units. We also like the tray storage unit as we did not have this in our old unit. Very handy for all kinds of items.

I got this fridge to match my new KitchenAid dishwasher, and to replace a beat-up old Whirlpool. I feel like it's made my kitchen far more stylish and open looking. I love the freezer on the bottom placement. It creates so much space in the fridge, and raises it to easy-reaching level. The stainless steel looks amazing, and the fridge is a perfect size to fit the weird space in my kitchen where it goes. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

So far so good ....after 1 month. Fruit and veggie drawers slide out completely sometimes.

Only been installed for about a week and a half. So far no issues. Bought two, one right handed and one left, to sit next to each other. Between the two there's never really a time that one or both are not running. I don't know if that's normal or not, but they run a lot. Also, the drawers are feel a bit on the cheap side and there are no stops at full extension. They're a slight detent, but they will go right past that and come out if your not careful. Could have been designed better in my opinion.

We have had the new refridgerator for a couple months now and have found it to be very satisfying to use. Especially like the bottom freezer which is much superior to having it in the top

Bought this refrigerator to replace a very old Whirlpool fridge. Looked at numerous brands, but decided on the Kitchen Aid because of the size and design. This fridge is beautiful! The stainless and the handles are perfect! The shelving and interior layout are great! The LED lighting is awesome! I don't have a bad thing to say about this refrigerator. I only gave it four stars because we haven't owned it long enough to give it 5.
