This refrigerator and freezer is enormous. Both compartments can store a lot of food. If you do not like to go shopping often you can stock up on supplies and store them in this LG unit. The unit does not make noise which is another plus. The shelves in the fridge and freezer are nice and wide.

My New Best Friend

I was lucky enough to have my last refrigerator for 20+ years and it was finally time to get something new. I have never had an appliance with so many great features and it changed my idea of what an appliance should be. First there is so much room with this configuration. It fits my needs to a tee. Second the water in my community is very heavy so the built in filter helped me get rid of my Brita. I didnt realize how much better ice tastes now. I love the double tab light feature that save me time openning the door to look for things and the door-in-the-door feature is ideal for those grab and go moments. So smart Finally my wife loves the craft ice. Its perfect for her And again so much freezer space to work with... amazing. We loved our old frig but you dont know what you dont know and now I am sold on our new best friend in the kitchen. Great Job LG.

We purchased this refrigerator in December of 2020. I love the design and the interior arrangements of the shelves and drawers. However we have replaced the craft ice maker twice in two years and now the compressor went bad and wasnt cooling the refrigerator properly. The compressor was replaced and the next morning I woke up to water on the floor from melted ice and a very warm fridge. I called the service center for an emergency repair. I was told they would put in the request and theyd get back to me with a service time in 5-7 day. I even gave them the name of the company that put in the compressor but they said they cant call them. What?????? Ill never purchase another LG product. Lucky for me I live in a cold climate so I can put my food on the deck and in the garbage.

Worst fridge ever

Bought March 2022 and LG has sent repair twice to fix a manufacturing defect. The unit is out of square so the shelf is unusable. Literally the front of shelf doesnt touch the side of the fridge wall 3/4 inch gap. Another major issue is craft ice maker. Continuously freezes and then doesnt work. Customer service is just as bad. Never a straight answer. Always saying they need something more. The repair person sent a photo the first time then sent 9 photos the second time. LG says they have them and yet still no resolution from them.

We are very disappointed with this refrigerator. We bought it specifically because it made craft ice but about 3 months ago the ice maker stopped working. The regular ice maker clogs if we go away for more than three days and has to be emptied upon our return. We love the spaciousness the drawer that either freezes or cools - theres much to recommend this appliance. However the ice making units are faulty and we cant seem to find a way to fix them. We would never recommend this to anyone.

I bought this as a replacement for my 17 year old LG refrigerator. So far very satisfied with all the features. The convertible drawer is a plus. I am hoping to get several years of good service from this unit. Hopefully it performs as well as the last one.

Love the refrigerator and the app.....the only problem has been with the Craft Ice Maker. Love the ice it produces but have had to have it serviced 2 times....both under warranty and everything is resolved but might be a weak point at this time.

This refrigerator is so spacious and allows me to organize well Biggest plus is all the adjustable shelving and the universal drawer in the middle. Plus the craft ice is so awesome A big issue I had was the water filter compartment I could not get the filter to go in after removing. Had to have LG come out twice. The second time they replaced the water filter compartment. Another problem is the cover for the air filter. Very hard to get off and broke when trying to replace the air filter. LG replaced the cover. Just hoping it wont break next time I need to replace air filter.

Lots of space

Just bought my fridge about three months ago. I previously had an LG similar to the new one but lightening hit it and destroyed it but I loved it so much I got another LG.I have the French door model with the center full convert drawer that can be used as a fridge or a freezer and then it has the bottom freezer. These fridges have the most useable space of any fridge on the market. Love the large door shelves and the door in door option to be able to get to my most used items like creamers and condiments without opening the entire fridge saving energy. I keep all of my meats and cheeses in the full convert drawer with the temp a little cooler to keep the meat fresher. And I also got the craft ice maker. Love it Also like the fact that it connects to my WiFi so I can monitor it when Im away from home. If I had had this option with the first one I would have know it wasnt running after the lightning strike and I could have had someone unplug and clean it out. I was out of state at the time and had no idea so by the time I got home everything in it was rotted and invested with bugs. Which meant it was unfixable. If I had caught it earlier I could have had it fixed. The only con I have with the newer models unlike my older one where you had multiple options of arranging your shelves in the fridge the current ones do not. The way the shelves come are pretty much the only option. Which means I could only move one shelf that is in two sections to a little higher height and then slide the front section back so as to create a large space so that would have enough height to put tall items like my tea pitcher and milk bottles. This is a feature that needs fixed. You have to be able to have more options to move your shelves to different heights to accommodate different sized items. But all in all I love my fridge.

The craft ice maker stopper working. Went through the troubleshooting over the phone. When that wasnt successful a technician was sent out within a few days. It took him about 10 minutes to change out and were back in business. The technician was also nice enough to answer some questions I had about our oven.

But after experiencing the wonder of this magnificent beast at my sisters home this past holiday I was determined to learn more about it and hopefully adopt one as my own. After much thorough reviewing testing comparing gut-checking I deemed this model to be the best investment out there. The space design features quality aesthetic all come together to make it the star performer in our kitchen. Just hosted our first dinner party of the new year and this fridge managed to hold everything comfortably and the guests LOVED the automatic craft ice balls that held up through hours of conversation. Well see whether it stands the test of time but for now I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spacious high-end upgrade

Great amount of Storage Space

We needed an upgrade from our old LG. This unit is great. It has so much storage space. The middle drawer can be an extension of the above refrigerator or the below freezer. The split front door provides easy access to many items and is so easy to open. The water filter is now hidden behind a storage shelf on the door giving more storage room on the top shelf. The new style ice maker is a joy to use.

I have to stop getting a fridge with an icemaker in the door. I had confidence that LG had figured this out but our icemaker hasnt worked from day one. Had the whole icemaker replaced and no good waiting for appliance repairman to com back tomorrow and see why it still doenst work. So frustrated. Craft ice works really well and everything else about this fridge is super great but the icemaker issue is still such a bummer.

Great except that the craft ice maker went haywire

We love this refrigerator. Our only problem was the craft icemaker quit about eleven months after we bought it. The machine sounded like it was going to destroy itself trying to function. Trying to connect to the IQ feature was an ordeal. It wouldnt accept our wifi as an acceptable means of communicating. Scanning the QR code was not much better but finally got it to connect. After resetting the fridge the icemaker seems to be working now. But its only been a day. hopefully its a long term fix

The refrigerator itself is great. The craft ice maker is absolutely terrible. We have had the repair man out six times to fix it and it is still broken. If you get this refrigerator do not order it with the craft ice maker. You will be disappointed.

Love the little door

I love the little door but it surprises you that the ice maker door is so heavy and slams when it shuts. Weve been making craft ice for a while and the balls still arent clear but they do seem to make the drink hold a longer cool without watering it down. I bought this product at full price with a Veteran discount did not receive it free or discounted for a review. I have a nice video but can only include if on YouTube so you wont see it as I have no way to just share it with you and dont have a YouTube channel.

Repair Ice Maker

I received an email from LG indicating there was a problem with my ice maker as reported by LG ThinQ. A repair was scheduled within 2 days. The repair tech diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He returned the next day and installed a new ice maker. I was concerned about the repair being completed as we were leaving town for 4 months. Was more than happy with the ease of scheduling an appointment and the repairs completed in a expeditious manner.

Great features but compressor failed

This is a beautiful large capacity refrigerator with great features. The craft ice and full convert drawer are great features. Unfortunately shortly after getting this fridge we noticed water dripping out the ice/water dispenser in the door. Initially we thought an ice cube or two got stuck in the dispense melted and expelled water down the front of our fridge doors. No our compressor failed. Both fridge and freezer were not cooling. Items in freezer were thawed and fridge items were just below room temperature. LG came out and replaced the compressor under warranty but we lost a ton of food as this is a 30 cu ft unit.

We replaced our applicances and were offered a package from Home Depot. Research on Consumer Reports showed us that the LG refrigerators were highly rated. My husband was enthralled with the Craft Icemaker and so we chose this model for ONLY that reason. Otherwise we would have chosen another model. Regrettably the Craft Icemaker never worked well and a month ago it stopped working altogether. Additionally the regular icemaker clogs when it hasnt been used in two or three days. Were rather unhappy with this purchase.

Large fridge really like the extra drawer and the door within a door for access to items like milk. Not a lot of room for tall storage like condiments or extra gallons of items. Biggest complaint is we have had the fridge for 8 month and are on our 3rd craft ice maker. about every 2 months it stops working and we spend a month dealing with customer service/repairs going through troubleshooting and trying to get it fixed. then we end up getting one sent to use and replace it.

I recently had a service call on my refrigerator my compressor failed took took a few days or parts to come The repair man was very knowledgeable and did a good job they fix the refrigerator and said he had to reset program now my lower icemaker is not working. Im not sure if he may have missed something in the programming or somehow turn off my lower icemaker ? Otherwise I love my refrigerator it is great My son just bought a washer and dryer and he is also very happy with the LG products

This is the third time they have replaced the Craft icemaker. This time they actually had an update so the tech brought in a device to plug into the fridge and update it but it would t update. He put in the new ice maker and has to come back a 4th time to update it. Lots of my time Of no fault of the techs.

We have had this refrigerator for a little over a year. It has been broken since the beginning of October. It us now almost January. Have had 6 repair men out to fix issues. Each time its a different problem and things get replaced. It was just repaired 2 days ago and already the temperature in the fridge will not hold. Its under warranty but at what point do you just get a new fridge. We absolutely loved this fridge until now. The craft ice was amazing. Its spacious and beautiful.

Too many problems

Out of the gate it wouldnt make the sphere ice cubes. I was told to fix the water pressure. Still only makes 3/4 cubes. Then less than 2yrs in it completely broke down. Lost all my food. First repairman replaced the compressor still didnt work. 2nd appointment was a no show. A week later someone finally showed up to fix it. I spent a lot of $ on this and still making payments. Not worth the hassle.
